Jose Medina, President/Director of Operations
Jose L. Medina is a former enlisted Military serviceman with the United States Marine Corps who is currently a 18 1/2-year veteran of law enforcement having extensive background Law Enforcement Tactical Training and Operations. Jose Medina's background consists of Tactical SWAT and First Responder Tactical operations along with background in narcotic investigations and extensive surviellance experience. Jose Medina has taken his police, military, fitness discipline and tactical training background and has applied his intense training and educational mindset along with extreme long hours dedicated to researching and developing new training concepts, re-establishing old theories and enhancing them into concepts that make sense in our training and consulting missions. Jose Medina has conducted numerous seminars, consulting and training certification programs ranging from police, corrections, military, tactical units, firefighters, corporate industries and college universities covering courses such as terrorism awareness, identity theft, disaster planning, active shooter training and awareness, SWAT training, VIP Protection and various forms of use of force concepts and combatives courses and advanced fitness training and concepts. He is a certified personal fitness trainer and has developed the FIT-3 program geared for in home personal training to open public fitness facilities covering areas such as consultations, combative self defense fitness and customized FIT-3 "Life Wellness" training and eating systems. Jose Medina has conducted special interviews and commentary work on the CNN's Nancy Grace Show, Counter Terrorism and Tactical Commentary on News 12 New Jersey, Fox 5 News, UPN 9, Orlando News Channel 6, Orlando Channel 2 News, and Orlando Orange County Latin News for the RATPAC Tactical Training Unit.

Arthur Randolph, Managing Partner/Director of Sales and Services
The "McGuiver" of the training operations, Arthur Randolph brings his 25 years of law enforcement experience to Awareness Protective Consultants. During the past 10 years, Art served as a patrol sergeant for a 90 person police department located in the State of New Jersey. Arthur Randolph's SWAT experience includes positions as a team member, team leader and team commander of his department’s Emergency Services Unit. Artthur Randolph's training background includes 12 years as a firearms instructor and supervising range officer for his department. His dedication and passion to high end educational training and services to the Law Enforcement, Military and Advanced Security field cannot be compared. Arthur Randolph continually works with Jose Medina in the research and development of advanced training and educational programs for Awareness Protective Consultants, LLC. Arthur was the lead instructor for APCLLC conducting a 10 week training program for future Aviation Sky Marshals candidates for the Aviation Police Authority in Southeast Asia.

John Zamrok, Firearms Training Advisory Consultant
John H. Zamrok, a decorated Marine Corps Vietnam veteran, retired from twenty-four years of New Jersey Municipal and State law enforcement service. He served as a S.W.A.T. team leader and his 32 years as a law enforcement firearms instructor includes five years as a full-time regional instructor for H&K's International Training Division. Most recently, John was New Jersey's State Range Master for ten years, coordinating all recruit and in-service law enforcement firearms training, as well as training over 1,900 LE firearms instructors, Assault Rifle and Subgun Instructors.

Bryan Doel, Training Instructor/Consultant
Bryan is a veteran of a municipal police department in New Jersey since 1994. He is a graduate of the Middlesex County Police Academy and had previously graduated from the Lake County, Florida, Police Academy. He is presently assigned to the Detective Bureau where he works as a crime scene detective and has worked previous assignments is the Patrol Bureau and the Special Operations Bureau. Bryan is currently a member of the departments Firearms Training Unit and holds qualifications as a NJDCJ certified Academy Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Police Service Rifle Instructor, OC Spray Instructor and Glock Armorer. He also serves as an entry team member for the Middlesex County Special Operations Response Team (SORT) where he has been assigned since 2004. Bryan is also a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He has served two tours on active duty for the attacks of 9-11 in New York City, specifically at and around Ground Zero, and also during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a former Port Security Specialist 1st Class and Military Working Dog handler/trainer who completed his military career as a member of the training staff for an Anti-Terrorism Unit in the Northeast. Some of his military duties included the administration of military law enforcement training and certifications courses, tactical procedures instruction, SOCOM Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Self Aid/Buddy Aid instructor and Z-Medica Quik Clot instructor. Bryan holds current memberships in the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), International Association for Identification (New Jersey Division), Honor Legion of the State of New Jersey and the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent Association.

Karen Sullivan: Director of Team Building Operations/Consultant
Chief (Ret) Karen Sullivan comes with just over 25 ears of Police Experience. Karen was the first female Chief in Monmouth County. Chief Sullivan went to Interlaken Police Department from Chatham Borough Police Department where she served as a Captain. Karen earned a Masters Degree in Human Resources Training and Development from Seton Hall University. She is certified as a Certified Chief Law Enforceent Executive throught the New Jersey State Chiefs of Police Association. She currently serves as the President of New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement. Karen is looking forward to being a part of the Team APC and bringing with her the "reality Life Coaching" concept to the "Real World, Real Time, Real Training mentality as she completes her Master Life Coaching Certification. Karen's goal is your goal: change what you want to change, live your life with purpose and passion in ways well beyond what you have ever imagined and enjoy yourself in a way you never believed possible. You'll be inspired and motivated to do things you might not normally even believe you are capable of doing to create a win-win=win mentality. Don't settle for "just okay" ; you deserve better

Patrick Devlin, Training Instructor/Fgrav Master Instructor Coach
Pat has been with a municipal police department in New Jersey since 1994. He is currently a Lieutenant with the department detectiv bureau. Pat has been a member of his agencies Emergency Response Team since its inception in 2000 and is currently the Tactical Team Leader. Aside from his many other duties Pat is the supervising Weapons Instructor for his department and holds certifications in many weapons and tactics areas. Pat has earned a Bachelors Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has also completed the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police West Point Command and Leadership Program, to which he now an instructor, and is also a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Session 232. Pat is currently one of Team APC's Instructor Trainer for our Fgrav Defensive / Reactive Use of Force Isntructors. Pat believes in his saying of “Today is Yesterdays Tomorrow”.

Iris "Jeannie" Torres, Training Instructor/Training Consultant
Iris J. Torres is a certified Self-Defense Instructor and a black belt in the martial arts style of Ninjitsu. Her most recent achievement was completing the FGRAV (Use of Force) instructor certification and Tai Chi instructor certification. She has dedicated her life to learning, applying and teaching various styles of martial arts. Her training dates 1988. Her skills enabled her to compete at a high level nationally receiving numerous gold and silver medals in kata (forms) and kumite (fighting).
Iris has won championships bouts against both men and women. She continues to compete in Martial Arts tournaments around the country. Iris continued her studies throughout the years in various styles such as Moy Yat Wing Chun Kung Fu System, Muay Thai (kick boxing), Shotokan and Tai Chi Chuan.
Iris runs her own business (United Dragons MMA) and is a personal trainer. She prides herself in understanding her client’s needs. Iris trains women, men and children of all ages. She works with them in order to design a program that will allow them to reach their goals. Her diverse background enables her to personalize individuals trainings based on their current condition, which creates a non-threatening environment and allows them to reach their desired level of fitness, improve their health and spiritual condition. Her tactics have proven to assist her clients in achieving optimal results that have provided them with many benefits, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Iris’s inner and physical strength have enabled her to compete against both men and women. Her dedication throughout her journey has been unwavering. Her passion and commitment have enabled her to travel all over the world. She passes on her skills to others with ease and is dedicated to providing the desired outcome for all her clients.

Deron ILarraza, Training Instructor/Consultant
Deron J. Ilarraza is a police officer in the State of New Jersey with over 15 years experience in law enforcement. He started his career as a county correctional officer with the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office in 1992 to 2000 where he served as a C.E.R.T. Squad Leader for seven years as well as an unarmed defensive tactics and PR-24 police baton instructor for the training unit. In 1995, Deron began instructing at the Monmouth County Police Academy in teaching police and corrections recruits in unarmed defensive tactics, side handle baton, physical fitness, search and handcuffing and riot and crowd control tactics. Deron is currently a police officer in the State of New Jersey where he is assigned to the patrol division as well as a member of the department's high risk warrant and narcotics entry team. Deron Ilarraza is currently part of the Tactical Training Unit for Awareness Protective Consultants, LLC where he works and trains in the areas of Correction Officer Survival Tactics and education as well as the C.E.R.T. Training Consultant along with Richard Bourne. His dedication to intense training and education for correction officers is also applied to our police, SWAT and military training objectives as well. Vincent Rubio Training Instructor/Consultant
Vincent Rubio is a fifteen year veteran of municipal law enforcement, serving five years in the patrol division, six years as a detective, and spending the last four years as the training/ procurement officer in a 90+ member municipal police department in central NJ. Vincent has been a member of his agency’s Special Response team since 1997. He has functioned as a municipal S.W.A.T. Team Leader, and is currently a squad leader with the Ocean County Regional SWAT team. Vincent holds county, state and federal instructor certifications in handgun, shotgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, and scoped rifle. He currently serves as the rangemaster for his agency, as well as a firearms instructor for the Ocean County Police Academy. Vincent has been a firearms instructor with the state, assisting in the certifications for submachine gun and assault rifle instructor since 2000.
Since 2000 He has led or been involved with, numerous assault rifle and submachine gun operator and instructor classes at the county and state levels, as well as handgun/ shotgun instructor, also at the county level. He also is certified as a response to active shooter instructor, assisting in developing a response to active shooter program for Ocean County. Vincent also holds an instructor certification from a leading manufacturer of marking cartridges. He also holds certifications in forceable entry, basic SWAT, as well as conducted numerous advanced firearms training programs for both police academies as well as advanced in-service weapons training for tactical units throughout the state of New Jersey. Vincent is also a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI).

Ted Kucowski Training Instructor/Consultant
Ted Kucowski is an eleven year veteran of municipal law enforcement, serving eight years in the patrol division, three years as a detective, and spending the last eight years as part of the Firearms Training Unit in a 90+ member municipal police department in central NJ.
Ted has been a member of his agency’s Special Response team since 2001. He has functioned as a municipal S.W.A.T. operator, and is currently an operator and the sniper coordinator with the Ocean County Regional SWAT team. Ted holds instructor certifications in handgun, shotgun, assault rifle, and scoped rifle. He has been a sniper nine years, while spending the last two as the sniper coordinator. He has also served as a guest sniper instructor for a major federal agency over the past five years. Additionally, Ted has successfully competed in numerous sniper competitions. Ted has been involved in numerous successful tactical operations both as a SWAT operator, Sniper, and Sniper Coordinator. He also has extensive training and experience in surveillance and undercover operations.
